Contacts
Contacts in Wapikit represent your customers, prospects, or any individuals you communicate with via WhatsApp.Contact Properties
Each contact in Wapikit includes:- Name: The contact’s full name
- Phone Number: The WhatsApp-enabled phone number (required)
- Status: Active, Inactive, Blocked, or Deleted
- Attributes: Custom fields to store additional information (e.g., age, location, preferences)
Creating Contacts
You can add contacts to Wapikit in several ways:Manual Entry
- Navigate to Contacts > Add Contact
- Enter the contact’s name and phone number
- Add any additional attributes
- Click “Save Contact”
Bulk Import
- Go to Contacts > Import Contacts
- Download the CSV template
- Fill in your contacts’ information
- Upload the completed CSV file
- Map the columns to Wapikit fields
- Complete the import

Contact Lists
Contact Lists in Wapikit allow you to segment your contacts into groups for targeted campaigns.List Properties
Each Contact List includes:- Name: A descriptive name for the list
- Description: Optional information about the list’s purpose
- Contacts: The contacts included in the list
- Tags: Optional labels to categorize the list
Creating Contact Lists
To create a new Contact List:- Navigate to Lists > Create New List
- Enter a name and description
- Add contacts to the list by:
- Selecting individual contacts
- Filtering contacts based on attributes
- Importing from a CSV file
- Apply tags if needed
- Click “Save List”
AI-Powered List Segmentation
Wapikit’s AI can automatically segment your contacts based on:- Engagement Patterns: How contacts interact with your messages
- Response Rates: How frequently contacts reply to your campaigns
- Conversion History: Whether contacts have completed desired actions
- Behavioral Signals: Patterns identified from conversation analysis
- Go to Lists > AI Segmentation
- Select the segmentation criteria
- Review the suggested segments
- Save the segments as new Contact Lists
